Only Three More Days

I am at the point of counting down the minutes until the break. I love Christmas break, and it has never looked so good.

Who said Jr. High teacher can't be crafty?

It is so silly but the simple things bring a smile to my face. For example my latest word wall. I told my students what I wanted it to look like and let them go for it. I did not cut out one of the leafs. It is hard to turn over creative rights, but when you do it can turn out so much better than you ever thought possible.

p.s. There were more leafs but I had to remove some after the creativity went a little to far and some of the leafs had extra (make you blush) four letter words on them. Got to love my chump kids.

Summer Run Down

Why Blog?

I started this blog in March with no intentions of anyone every seeing it. I wanted to understand the technology behind it and maybe do blogs with my students at school. So, you ask will anyone ever read wendskis blog? I don't really care, I am doing it for my sisters. Tiffany suggested that I blog about the books I am reading and so I just might. But for today I want to take a look back at summer. It was the first summer in six years that I stuck around Utah. One of three since graduating from high school. I stuck around because I had to teacher summer school. The up side to sticking around was I got to spend time with the family. Picture say it better than I can.
